1oz .999 Fine Copper Benjamin Franklin $100 Collectors Ounce Bullion ROUND USA
These rounds depict "Benjamins", "Bens", or "Franklins" as they are commonly known, due to the appearance of Benjamin Franklin's portrait by the French painter Joseph Duplessis on the denomination, or as "Century notes" or "C-Notes" based on the Roman numeral for 100, or as "blue faces" based on the blue tint of Benjamin Franklin's face on the bills current design.
The United States one-hundred-dollar bill ($100) is a denomination of US currency. The first $100 bill was issued in 1862 and the Federal Reserve Note version was released in 1914, along with other denominations. The statesman, inventor, diplomat and American Founding Father Benjamin Franklin has been featured on the obverse of the bill since 1914.
On the reverse of the note is the Independance Hall in Philadelphia, which has been used since 1928.
The $100 note has been the largest denomination circulated since July 13, 1969, when the larger denominations were retired.
Fine Copper used to be a dubious contender when it came to investment portfolios, but with snowballing popularity and the ease of building portfolios rapidly, Fine Copper shows no signs of slowing down in todays market.
